Gidday Robert!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for visiting with your question. How exciting that you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth at the end of this year! Let's get a theme park ticket strategy in place, so you're ready to savor every moment with your friends.
Linking all of your party's park tickets to your
My Disney Experience app is definitely one option. You'll then need to assign a ticket to each guest. For park entry, you could either manage this for your group by presenting your phone, and using
MagicMobile to display each person's ticket. Or they may prefer using their own My Disney Experience app, or even using a
MagicBand, for both park entry and tapping in to any
Lightning Lane reservations you may make.
It sounds like you will be purchasing the standard,
date-based park tickets. If this is the case, you will not need to make any park reservations. This flexibility is nice to have! Although I do find as my family's trip gets closer, I like to start planning out which parks we plan to visit on each day of our trip. Sometimes viewing the
park calendar can help you decide, based on operating hours or any special events. The calendar for your December dates should be available some time in October.
Did you know that 60 days prior to your arrival, you can starting making
advance dining reservations? Disney Dining can add so much to your magical vacation! Consider dining at favorites
California Grill or
'Ohana, both of which are close enough to Magic Kingdom to enjoy watching the evening fireworks from the restaurant windows, or by stepping outside. This is an excellent way to kick things off with a dose of magic on your arrival night, without even having to use a park ticket! Another must-do is concluding your Animal Kingdom park day by visiting the nearby, gorgeous Animal Kingdom Lodge for dining at
Boma - Flavors of Africa. They have wonderful viewing areas to watch live animals on the savannah.
I hope this answers your questions, and gives you some ideas for your wonderful Disney World vacation, Robert! If you need assistance with getting everything set up in the app, or any other questions, please feel free to
reach out to me at planDisney.
Sending pixie dust your way,
Tami
