I have a party of 11 adults and 4 children, looking for hotel or resort and park ticket info

Hey there, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney!

It sure sounds like you have an amazing trip coming up this fall! Your timing is practically perfect, as you'll be heading to Walt Disney World Resort during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which runs through November 19th, 2022! I love all the EPCOT festivals, but this one especially because of the kid-friendly activities and the delicious snacks that you can find all over World Showcase!

Visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with a group of your favorite people is sure to be a memorable trip, though sometimes navigating hotel reservations, dining reservations, and the Parks, in general, can take some expertise. I recently visited with my extended family and we reserved three Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest rooms to fit everyone! Depending on your budget and the configuration of the families traveling I'll try to give you some options to explore!  Remember, if this gets to be a little much, you can always speak with an Authorized Disney Travel Planner who can book everything for you (for free!). Then, you and your entire group can just sit back, relax and enjoy the magical moments that surround you.

When looking for a Disney Resort reservation online, you'll find that your party cannot be accommodated within one Disney Resorts Collection hotel room and will need to split into multiple Guest rooms and/or suites. If you're looking for a budget-friendly but absolutely amazing Resort, check out Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Here, you'll find expertly themed Family Suites that accommodate up to six adults and include two bathrooms plus a kitchenette.  I love this Resort for its proximity to the Disney Skyliner - my new favorite way to get around the Resort!  Disney's Art of Animation Resort also has Standard Guest Rooms in the Little Mermaid section, so if you have a smaller family joining you they can get a standard room but still be at the same Resort hotel!

Some Villas at the Disney Deluxe Resorts are 2-bedroom Villas that can usually accommodate eight or nine Guests. Some of your party could stay in a 2-bedroom Villa while the others reserve a Standard Guest room in the same Resort! This would be possible at Resorts like Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Villas, and many other Villa options around the Resort.  Check out your options and see which works best when it comes to theme and budget!

When it comes to purchasing Theme Park Tickets, it doesn't make any difference if you buy them altogether or in two separate transactions.  Make sure to also make your entire party's Theme Park Reservations for the same days if you're always planning on staying together!  You can link all of your families together on your Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience account so that all of your plans can be shared with the entire group!

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
