Hi! My partner is an Australian resident but not a citizen. The online check in has him classified as Australian citizen, would that be an issue? We uploaded his Argentinian passport for his check in.our cruise won’t leave Australia.

    Hi Stephanie,

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting to be counting down the days until your Disney Magic at Sea cruise! To help you navigate your situation, I have some information to share and also some guidance to offer.

Stephanie, according to the Disney Cruise Line website, for all non-Australian nationalities on Australia to Australia cruises, visas aren't required, so it seems that his Argentinian passport should be what he needs as a government-issued ID to cruise. Since you have submitted his documentation, his status should be "pending" until his documents are approved. The good news is that you can complete all the other check-in steps during this pending stage. You will receive a notice via email when the documents are approved or if something needs attention.

Now, since it isn't clear about how his citizenship is listed in your reservation, I know that I would feel more assured if you had direct confirmation from Disney Cruise Line on this matter. I encourage you to contact a Cast Member with your question. They will be happy to make sure that he submitted the correct documentation.

Remember, when you arrive at the cruise terminal, you will need to present your government-issued ID and your Port Arrival Form, so put those two items at the top of your carry-on packing list. Some other items to consider for your carry-on baggage are any medications and valuables you are bringing on board, sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and your swimsuit if you plan to take a dip in the pool before your other luggage is available.

Now, once you are onboard, there is so much to love about the Disney Wonder. My favorite dining venue is Tiana's Place! The entertainment is so festive and the food is divine! Save room for dessert. Since you won't be able to decide between Tiana's Buttermilk Beignets, Mama Odie's Chocolate Bread Pudding, and the delightful New Orleans Banana Foster Sundae, just order one of each!

Stephanie, I hope you receive the confirmation you need so that you can turn your mind to how magical your holiday will be! Please write back if you have other questions.

    Wishing you many wonder-filled moments,
    Shannon
