Do all parties staying in the same room have to get the QS plan or can certain opt out?

    Hello Leanne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We are thrilled you stopped by to ask a question about planning a vacation at Walt Disney World.  I can't think of a more magical place to make memories.   I am so happy to help you out today.

Leanne, if you book a Walt Disney World vacation package every Guest who stays in the same room will need to be on the same package.   If the package you choose involves one of the amazing Disney Dining Plans, everyone in the room would need to be utilizing the same package.   For example if you booked a stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort for five nights with Disney's Quick Service Dining, every Guest on the reservation would be on the Quick Service Dining plan.  You can not have one Guest opt out of the plan while the others use it.   I know this may not be the news you had wanted to hear, but it is the case at the moment.   I do highly recommend the Disney Dining Plan.  It's has always saved my family money on our vacations rather than paying out of pocket for each meal.

Enjoy your vacation planning and if we can answer anything else for you, please let us know.
