We have 2 parties under 1 reservation (my friend and I are sharing a room for UDA Nationals). Can we both link the reservation to our app?

Hi, Sarah! Putting your vacation plans together with your friend can be completed with a quick "bibbidi bobbidi boo!" You won't even need to pull out your magic wand to make it happen ... well, I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to go ahead and use it, because it always is the key to the best magic!

Sarah, you are both able to have the room show up on your individual My Disney Experience apps. Whichever one of you is listed on the room reservation as the lead guest will need to connect accounts with the other person. So, say you are the lead guest on the reservation. Sign in to your My Disney Experience account and look in My Family and Friends List. If your friend is not already listed there, click Add A Guest. You will be able to enter her information and then click to Invite This Guest to Connect with an email. She will receive an invitation to connect My Disney Experience accounts.

Now, this is the tricky part. Was your room booked by a travel agent or similar? If so, you will probably need to contact them to have them finish linking the room with guests. If you booked the room yourself online, then this is easily accomplished. Just locate the reservation in My Plans and click to Modify Guests. This will open a screen where you will choose from everyone in My Family and Friends List to be designated as the other guest in your room. Once you choose your friend's profile and submit it, the room reservation will then show up in her My Disney Experience account.

I hope this information helps you easily link your room reservation to both of your accounts! If you continue to have problems with it, please give a Cast Member in Disney Resort Hotel Reservations a call to see if a super-powered magic wand is needed!
