Hello, Participating in 2019 Run Disney 5K, first timer, and want to make ADR for Garden Grill right after. Do you think 8:30am is enough time? The race is through Epcot and starts at 6am, I believe. Thanks for any info.

    Hi Amy!

Welcome back!  Thanks for returning to ask another question at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It's my pleasure to help you out today.

How exciting that you will be participating in your very first runDisney event.  My first runDisney event was also a 5k and I loved every single second of it.  I hope you have a great racecation during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.   The Walt Disney World 5K starts at Epcot at 5:30 a.m.  This does not mean that your particular corral will begin at that time,  they release runners in waves and you could not start until 6 or even 6:30 a.m. if you are in one of the later corrals.   Once you finish the race you would need to go to the front of Epcot and enter with a park ticket to head to your meal at Garden Grill Restaurant.   I would suggest trying to find a meal for about 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. so you don't miss out on any of the race fun.

I hope this has helped.  Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.  It's so fun to lend a helping hand every chance I get.
