I am participating in the Disney Princess half marathon in Feb 2026. One of the spectators coming along will have my 1 year old with them. Will a car seat for the bus transportation be available or do they ride in their strollers/held?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Mariah!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! Get ready for a trip full of MAGIC, memories, and sparkle around every corner! I know you will be "running around" with excitement because it’s going to be an unforgettable experience. Let’s just say you have some royally fun miles ahead of you!

I am so excited (and super PROUD of you - This is a BIG DEAL!) that you will participate in the Disney Princess Half Marathon next year! This truly is one of the most enchanting races you will ever experience. There are Disney characters cheering you on, other runners in their best princess-inspired outfits, and so much energy in the air. Every mile has its own kind of enchantment, and the encouragement from the crowd makes it even more special. Whether you’re running for fun, a goal, or just for the joy of it, this race will be something you’ll never forget!

It's going to be so fun having your little one there to chEAR you on during the race weekend, and you asked a great question on how transportation will work. Disney buses are an incredible and easy way to get around on race day. As you plan, I wanted to inform you that car seats aren’t available and can’t be used on the buses since there are no seat belts or anchors. Your one-year-old will need to be held on your spectator’s lap during the ride, and strollers must be folded before boarding. But don’t worry—buses are super family-friendly, and Cast Members are always happy to help anyone get on and off with their gear. There is just something exciting about riding a Disney bus before sunrise, surrounded by fellow supporters, all buzzing with race-day energy—it’s part of what makes this day so special!

As you continue to plan, make sure you check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney! Mickey and his pals have some incredible surprises planned, and we don't want you to miss any of the fun!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
