Hey Aileen,
Welcome back to planDisney! I’m happy to hear you had a great 5K experience during the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend! I also participated in the Princess races for the first time, and it might be my new favorite race weekend!
The current runDisney race registration process allows you to purchase multiple bibs in one transaction, or purchase them separately. Once you enter the registration page, you’ll need to
enter participant information like name, date of birth, contact information, and shirt size. At the bottom of the registration page, there is a button that says “I want to add another registration.” If you click that button, you can select the next race you’d like to register for and enter the participant information again. You would also follow this process to register a friend or family member in the same transaction.
It is important to know that
your registration is not confirmed until you complete the checkout process and receive your confirmation e-mail. Some runDisney participants choose to register for one race at a time to ensure they secure a bib for the event they want to prioritize.
The
2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will be from February 26 through March 2, 2026. Registration for Club runDisney members begins June 17, 2025, and general registration opens June 24, 2025. The themes for the 2026 weekend have not been announced yet, but you’ll see that information shared on the runDisney social media pages, along with future medal reveals and merchandise previews.
Good luck with your registration process, Aileen. Did you see the
2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend themes were recently announced? Now that you’ve completed the 5K and you’re planning on registering for the 5K and 10K for next year, a challenge may be in your future! Perhaps the Princess Weekend Fairytale Challenge? I also recommend checking out some of the other race weekends, like
Wine & Dine or
Springtime Surprise, or even a
Disneyland race weekend! As you can see, I am a big fan of runDisney, so if you have any future questions about runDisney or planning a Walt Disney World vacation, please
come back and see me again at planDisney!
Wishing you many magical miles,
Kaitlin
