Can you participate in free dining if you are a passholder and paid full rate at resort

    Hi there, Ann!

Being an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World is like a whole year's worth of access to the Magic. It always lets my family visit multiple times each year, knowing that one of the biggest parts of the trip is already taken care of.

Anyone can participate in the free dining promotions, but there are requirements that have to be met in order to be eligible for the promotion. In most cases, you will have to book a minimum nights' stay at a Walt Disney World resort, plus purchase theme park tickets for a certain number of days.

Annual passholders are certainly welcome to book a room with a free dining promotion, but you will still be required to make the ticket purchase as well. I do know of some annual passholders who think this is still a value for them to do, but that would be a decision you would want to make for yourself.

You may want to look into Tables in Wonderland. Currently available only to annual passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, and Florida residents, the card gives you a 20% discount on dining at over 100 participating restaurants. Additionally, you have some dining discounts available as an annual passholder.

Whatever you decide, I hope you have many amazing dining experiences on your upcoming visit!
