as part of our booking we get $200 on a Disney giftcard. is it possible to use this money to pay for the gratuities with each table service meal as we are on the dining plan. or can the gift card be used to pay balance of charges to room

Hi, Andrew! It is possible to do both! Gift cards can be utilized to pay for gratuities at meals or taken to the Guest Services and used to pay on the room charge balance.  I prefer the second option so that I don't have to carry the gift cards with me.  I leave them locked in the Resort room safe and then take them to pay the balance on my room charges every few days. That works better for me, but either method is acceptable. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
