Jennifer,Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!I stayed at Disney's Art of Animation Resort last fall, and it was every bit as magical as ever! Swimming through Nemo and Ariel's worlds, and then spinning my wheels with Lightning McQueen was like being in the actual movies!I did not have my little buddy Max with me at the time, but I might bring my four-legged friend next time. The areas that were dog-friendly at the time were in the Lion King, Nemo, Cars, and Little Mermaid areas. Namely in these buildings.
I will warn you that these areas can change, and have, in the past. But that is very infrequent, so I would expect that these should be your options for a while. You can see an official list of rules and a map of the areas on the website. You can find this by going to the Art of Animation overview page and reading about the pet-friendly areas. BONUS TIP #1For more information about the Dog-Friendly Disney Resort Hotel Pilot Program, call (407) 934-7639. BONUS TIP #2Other resorts that are part of this program include Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. Please do feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions. Have a Magical Vacation! Doug
