Hey, Angie! It is definitely best to know before you go, so I am glad you stopped by today! There were lots of changes to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules that went into effect this spring. The Disney Parks Blog gave a
great overview of many of the changes, including the changes regarding the type and size of strollers. These new rules clarified that stroller wagons of all types are prohibited, as well as all strollers that are more than 31" wide and 52" long. Considering the dimensions that you provided here for your stroller, it does sound like that it should be good to go for use at the theme parks. Actually, I personally saw a Graco Modes Duo in use this past weekend at Magic Kingdom Park. I remember it because the family sitting across from us on the Disney bus when we were headed back to our resort had one. The dad mentioned to those of us around him that he was not aware of the stroller size limitations in place when they arrived, but had measured it and thankfully, it was within the stated rules.
Angie, this stroller model has lots of storage room on board, so you may want to bring insulated coolers filled with water bottles to keep your family hydrated. It was incredibly hot last weekend while we were there, so you will definitely need all the water you can bring! Since loose ice is not allowed through security checkpoints, I usually freeze one of the bottles to throw in the cooler and keep the others refreshing. Also, bring some small hand-held, battery-operated fans that spray water. My girls kept these cranking out a misty breeze all weekend! If you do not have any on hand, there are lots of ice-filled carts found along the walkways all across the parks that sell these type of fans with a strap for easy carrying. Of course, do not forget the sunscreen each day!
I hope you have a magical, pixie-dusted adventure this weekend, Angie! Thanks so much for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
