Hello, we are going to the parks today and have a toddler with an ear infection, I was wondering if it ok to bring in children’s pain relief meds in bag in case needed? I want to make this as pleasant as possible.

Hello, Ingrid! Thank you so much for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm so sorry to hear about your little Mouseketeer not feeling well. Hopefully, a dose of sunshine and a hug from Mickey Mouse will work wonders!

Most likely, you're already enjoying your day at The Most Magical Place on Earth, but for future reference, you can most certainly bring personal medications into the theme parks. My Park bag is always stocked with ibuprofen, migraine medication, motion sickness remedies, and an Epi-Pen, and I've never had any trouble getting through security.

Here's a Moms Panel tip: If your little one starts feeling under the weather today, stop by any of the First Aid centers located in all four theme parks and the resort hotels. They are staffed with licensed nurses who are ready to treat what ails you. My son came down with a tummy bug while in Epcot several years ago, and it was a huge relief to have a comfortable resting spot. The Baby Care Centers are located next to the First Aid Stations, and they have on-site stores offering over-the-counter medication. You can also buy essentials such as diapers, wipes, baby food, and onesies. Walt Disney World Resort really goes to infinity and beyond to take care of all their Guests!

Best wishes for a "Practically Perfect" day, Ingrid!
