Hi there, Alisha! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort next month!
Walt Disney World Resort is welcoming Guests back to experience all of the magic they know and love! In order to prioritize the safety of all Guests, there have been a few
changes you may notice during your upcoming visit. Some of these include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact.
At this time, Guests are not required to have the COVID-19 vaccine before entering the theme parks. However, Guests ages two and up will be required to
wear face coverings throughout their visit regardless of their vaccination status. Face coverings must be worn at all times outside of actively eating, taking an outdoor photo, or swimming. Keep in mind, you will need to be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distance from others during these times.
There are also a few key points to keep in mind when choosing a face covering for your visit. All face coverings must be made with at least two layers of breathable material, fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin, fit snugly against the side of the face, and be secured with ties or ear loops so the Guests can remain hands-free.
Another important update to keep in mind is that all Guests will be required to have a reservation prior to entering the four theme parks. Reservations may be made through the
Disney Park Pass system as soon as you have purchased theme park tickets and connected them to your
My Disney Experience account.
I hope you have a wonderful time visiting Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
