Hi there, Melissa.
I'm so glad you ventured out into the
big blue world with Nemo and swam your way to planDisney! Life is the bubbles when a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is on the horizon, isn't it? I imagine you are knee-deep in those planning waters at the moment, so I'm happy to help you surf these last few waves into shore.
You have so much to look forward to "under the sea" on your magical vacation! Over at EPCOT, you can dive into all the fun at the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. There are lush gardens and exhibits to explore, tasty treats to sample at the
Outdoor Kitchens, topiaries of Disney characters to discover, a butterfly house, a scavenger hunt, and even a
concert series! EPCOT never looks more beautiful than when it's in full bloom, and the Festival is the perfect way to usher in springtime. Oh, and we can't forget about the EARidescent excitement of the
50th Anniversary Celebration.
Come on, get your ears on and snap those selfies with the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. End your nights by checking out the stunning
Beacons of Magic at each theme park.
It's no wonder you want to know which of these
Disney Resorts Collection hotels' transportation options makes navigating to the theme parks easier. You want to be immersed in the magic as much as possible, after all! While I absolutely love
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, its transportation options can feel a little cumbersome at times. Since the Resort is so widespread, you may find yourself waiting longer than expected to get to the theme parks. The
Disney Skyliner station at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort will get you to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios in a real jiffy, which is honestly reason enough to choose it as your home away from home. You would have to wait on the
Walt Disney World Bus Service to get to these two theme parks from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. That wait may take a while since there are numerous bus stops throughout the Resort. The Disney Skyliner is constantly moving, so the wait to get on would be minimal. You would utilize bus transportation at either Resort to get to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, so they're even in that regard. To get to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, you can
take a water taxi, but you may have to wait a while for one to arrive. At Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you would take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park.
Melissa, you really can't go wrong no matter which Resort hotel you choose. They both have so much to offer, but, in my opinion, Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the clear winner when it comes to ease of theme park access. I hope you have a splendid vacation. Come see us again soon!
Just keep swimming,
Alyssa
