When do the parks decorate for Halloween? Planning a trip early (first or second week) October '16 and wondering if we will catch the Halloween themes at all.

Hi Sara! Halloween is my favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World! The weather is great, not too hot and not too cold, the crowds are low and the deals are great during this time of year! If you are visiting Walt Disney World in early October, you will definitely get to see the wonderful Halloween decorations! Disney usually begins decorating in early to mid September, so you will be there at the perfect time. I highly recommend purchasing tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party while you are there. This is a separately ticketed event and is so much fun! You can enjoy a special Halloween version of Wishes called Hallo-Wishes, a special Halloween Boo-To-You Parade, trick-or-treating and special character meet and greets!

You will also love the special Halloween items for purchase in all of the shops at the parks and at Disney Springs. I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
