Hi David!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! What a challenge you’re about to take on! I’m happy to help you strategize to get the most out of your park time.
First, let’s review
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. When your
booking window opens, you’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and book 3 Lightning Lane pre-selections in one park. I’d recommend purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass for either your first or second park of the day to make the most of it.
As soon as you scan into a Lightning Lane by using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll be able to book any other available Lightning Lane in any park you want since you have a valid
park hopper. At that time, you’ll also be able to modify any existing Lightning Lane you have to a Lightning Lane in any other park if you want. So, if you don’t think you’ll be at the park long enough to use all 3 Lightning Lanes, you can switch them to your next park pending availability.
That process will continue throughout the day. After you scan into each Lightning Lane, you’ll be able to book another one. And you won’t have to pay again (woohoo!).
Now, let’s chat about
Lightning Lane Single Pass. At the same time you book your Lightning Lane Multi Pass pre-selections, you’ll be able to book your Lightning Lane Single Passes. You can book up to 2 Lightning Lane Single Passes per day. And since you have a park hopper, those two rides can be in different parks if you want!
The Lightning Lane Single Pass rides are all truly amazing, so I’d choose the two you want to book based on your priorities and the available return times. You’re going to want them to fit in well with your schedule to complete your 4 parks in 1 day challenge!
If I HAD to choose, I’d probably book a Lightning Lane Single Pass for
Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot and
TRON at Magic Kingdom – especially if you decide to end your day at Magic Kingdom because riding TRON at night is the best!
If your goal is to ride as many rides as possible in each park, I’d choose Lightning Lanes with immediate return times if possible throughout the day, take advantage of low standby queues, and utilize single-rider queues. That could mean you don’t get to ride the most popular rides at each park, but as long as you manage your expectations going into the day, you’re bound to have an amazing time!
Good luck with your challenge! You got this!
