We would like to do 4 parks in a day. We want to park our car at Hollywood Studios and end there for the night show. Any suggestions on which order to do the parks from Hollywood Studios please?

    Hi Claire,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for visiting us today with your question about your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I love helping fellow Guests plan a perfect holiday to Walt Disney World, and it's extra special when they happen to be a fellow Brit!

Claire, it sounds like you're taking on the 4 Park Challenge! This is made really easy with the UK 14-Day Magic Ticket, which has Park Hopper built right in. Now let's consider the perfect route to take. Starting at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would aim to arrive for rope drop and head straight to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, before grabbing a coffee at The Trolley Car Café and getting a PhotoPass photo with the Hollywood Tower Hotel in the background.

Next, I’d head out of the park and over to the Disney Skyliner station, making my way to the EPCOT International Gateway. This will drop you right into the heart of World Showcase. I would walk through World Showcase, stopping for a snack at one of the Festival food booths, and exit via Canada (walking the correct way round, of course—am I right?). Be sure to stop at the Imagination Pavilion for a ride with Figment and perhaps a character photo with the purple dragon himself. Then continue to the front of EPCOT for a ride on Spaceship Earth and, of course, a PhotoPass photo with the park’s iconic geosphere.

Next, board the monorail heading over to Magic Kingdom, transferring at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Now, before heading into Magic Kingdom, I’m going to suggest something a bit different: head down to the boat launch and board a boat to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Grab some lunch at Roaring Fork and enjoy your meal in the calm of this beautiful resort—you’ll need a break, this is a BIG day! Once you're rested and refuelled, take the boat back over to Magic Kingdom, grab a PhotoPass photo in front of Cinderella Castle, and choose an attraction to enjoy!

I’d then aim to catch a bus no later than 15:30 to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Once you arrive at my favourite Walt Disney World theme park, grab your final PhotoPass photo of the day outside the Tree of Life and enjoy an attraction or two. I recommend heading over to Expedition Everest and making use of the single rider line!

Now, check the showtime for Fantasmic! on the My Disney Experience app and give yourself at least 90 minutes to make your way back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to find the perfect seat in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre for the nighttime spectacular. Save a bit of extra time to grab some food from Sunset Ranch Market, too!

Phew, this was fun just to write! I can't wait for you to experience it. You'll have ticked off all four Disney Parks, with a photo at each park icon—and you'll have experienced four types of Disney transportation! Now, for the first time in forever, BOTH Disney Water Parks will be open this summer, maybe we need to consider the 6 park challenge. No? Just me?

I hope this answers your question, Claire. Have a fantastic holiday at Walt Disney World, and if you have any further questions, please reach out to me. I’d love to help!

    Have a magical day,
    Matt
