what parks would be best for an 18-month old to visit?

Hi, Carolyn!  My girls are veterans of all four of the Walt Disney World theme parks from the time they are infants, and I would say without question that the best park with an 18 month old is the Magic Kingdom.  There is so much there that everyone can enjoy, from the It's a Small World ride to the incredible Main Street parade!  It really is the park that pleases people of all ages.

My girls also have really enjoyed Animal Kingdom.  While there are not nearly as many rides there for little ones to do, from the time they were very small, the kids have been in love with the Festival of the Lion King.  We also like to take the train over to the petting zoo, and they enjoy seeing the other animals throughout the park.

Alternatively, Disney's Hollywood Studios features some of the little ones' favorite characters in the Playhouse Disney stage show and at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show.  Kids this age will also enjoy spending time at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area.

    Have a great time planning!
