Hi Michele! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney!
When it comes to
Walt Disney World Resort, you know that no matter how you and your family spend your time it's going to be a magical trip! There is simply no wrong way to "do Disney" and every single one of the four Theme Parks and two Water Parks will have plenty for every member of your family to do.
There are definitely not-to-be-missed attractions, characters and dining experiences in every park, so if you have the chance, I would say try to make it to all four! If time is a constraint, you might think about purchasing
Park Hopper Option Tickets. Doing so will allow you and your family to move from one Park to another throughout the same day. You can start your morning "rope dropping" (being present right at Park opening when Cast Members literally drop a rope to set you off into the magic!) at
Magic Kingdom Park and finish off your day cuddling under the fireworks with your family during
EPCOT's new nighttime spectacular,
Harmonious. My family and I "hop" on EVERY trip and really enjoy spending the time between the Parks swimming in our Resort's pool.
If you're set on just a couple of Parks, I would suggest making the most time for Magic Kingdom. With original, iconic attractions like
"it's a small world",
Jungle Cruise, and
Haunted Mansion you'll go back home knowing you really hit the heart of the magic. Plus, newer attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will bring thrills to everyone in your party without being too scary for your youngest.
Disney's Hollywood Studios might be your next stop if you have a Star Wars or Toy Story-loving crew. Not only are these two lands completely immersive, but the rest of the park makes you feel like you're right back in the Golden Age of movies! It's one of my favorite places to stroll and take in the countless details all around me.
Depending on your childrens' interests, Disney's Animal Kingdom and EPCOT are still both incredible choices. When I was a kid, and still to this day, EPCOT is my favorite Park out of them all. There are thrills at
Test Track and new exciting attractions like
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, but for some reason the ambiance of the Park just makes me wish I could stay there forever, parked on a bench, enjoying a Mickey Premium Bar and taking in the beautiful scenery.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is perfect for your animal lovers and nature explorers. If the children want to experience a safari, get up close and personal with four-legged friends and explore Pandora - The World of Avatar, you'll definitely want to leave time for this Park!
I love them all, so I really can't choose, but I promise you'll find the perfect amount of magic with whichever Parks you pick!
