Will any of the parks do anything special for May 4? I was wondering if there will be any additional Star Wars activities or shows going on. We have been to Hollywood Studios and did the Jedi training.

    Hi, Linda!
How exciting to start a vacation on May the 4th! It's an epic Star Wars day.

This year, the Disney Parks Blog reported there are some May the 4th events at Disneyland Resort. There is nothing official announced at Walt Disney World Resort. That said if you're going to be on property on May 4th, I would go straight to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

You can enjoy so many amazing Star Wars experiences at Hollywood Studios. From Star Wars Launch Bay where you can meet some cool characters and see incredible movie relics to enjoying Star Tours - The Adventure Continues, you're just getting started. Kids have a chance to participate in Jedi Training Academy (sign up early in the day), and you can end your evening with the Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show. There are also stage shows, and if you hang out around the Launch Bay long enough, you'll catch a glimpse of Captain Phasma.

Have an unforgettable time at Walt Disney World Resort! And, May the 4th be with you!
