How much is parking? Do I need to bring cash?

Ka-CHOW, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! Just like Lightning McQueen, you'll be squealing tires toward Walt Disney World Resort soon. But even race cars need a breather, so let's look at parking options during your visit.

You can find current parking rates on the Parking page, but keep in mind that rates vary by season. You'll also see the option to upgrade to Preferred Parking, which is situated closer to the theme park entrances.

Keep in mind that once you pay at the first theme park you visit, you can park hop on the same day with no additional parking fees. How magical is that?

Parking attendants accept credit and debit cards, Disney Gift Cards, and cash. My husband likes to use contactless payments such as Apple Pay, and most payment booths accept that as well.

Guests staying at select Disney Resort Hotels can park for free at both their resort and the theme parks. That's a fantastic perk to keep in mind for future visits.

And speaking of free parking, there's complimentary parking at Disney Springs for all guests. There are no direct buses to the theme parks from Disney Springs, but the dining and shopping options are my favorite kind of thrill ride! I love to breeze through the Marketplace Co-op for household items, and it's so close to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop...I can never resist that sweet, delectable aroma!

Jessica, I see the checkered flag waving you toward the home stretch! I hope your vacation is full of fun and memories. Stop by planDisney anytime for a victory lap!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
