Speed…I am Speed…
Lightening McQueen would approve of your question, Bryan. As someone who typically drives myself around the Walt Disney World property, I consider myself a bit of an expert on the preferred parking areas.
If you take a look at the
Walt Disney World Parking page and scroll down to almost the bottom, you will find maps of the theme park parking lots. While the preferred parking is not actually noted, you can get a feel for where it is.
I am an annual passholder, which means parking at the theme parks is included for me. On most of my vacations, I pay for preferred parking at each park, as I feel it is completely worth the $25-$30. The best preferred parking lot is by far at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This lot is right next to the
Skyliner station, and a quick walk from the park’s main entrance. I also feel that the preferred lot at Disney’s Animal Kingdom feels like you are a LOT closer.
If you pay for preferred parking at one theme park and then choose to park hop, you can utilize the preferred parking at your second theme park as well. Just be sure to keep your placard and receipt to show.
I hope this helps to plan your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Please come back and see us here at planDisney should other questions come up for you.
Happy Traveling (& parking),
Tracy
