When does the parking lot open for Magic Kingdom when it is scheduled to open at 9am? We are not staying on property and have breakfast reservations for Crystal Palace at 8am. Where are we to park if the parking lot isn't open yet

    Hi Adina,

It's not too much longer until your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! I bet you're getting so excited!

I'm happy to let you know that my family has arrived early to Magic Kingdom Park on many occasions and we've never had any trouble parking. There should be Cast Members there to assist you, and the Monorail should be running to whisk you away for a day of magic and fun! I'd be sure to allow yourself around 45 minutes to park, travel to the park entrance, and go through security and ticketing. There will be a special entrance line for Guests with early dining reservations, so just make sure you have proof of your reservation with you and look for that line. If they haven't allowed all of the Guests to enter Main Street U.S.A. yet, be sure to enjoy having it mostly to yourselves, and definitely feel free to stop for a photo or two!

You're going to LOVE beginning your day at The Crystal Palace. My family loves the food there, especially the omelette station and my personal must-have breakfast staple...Mickey Waffles! Plus, getting to meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends is simply Tiggerific! Once you've enjoyed your delicious breakfast, your tumbly won't be rumbly anymore and you'll be ready for an amazing day at Magic Kingdom Park!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Adina, and have a truly magical vacation!
