Hi Judi,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear that you're thinking through the details of a magical
Walt Disney World Resort trip and hope that means that you'll be soaking up all of the magic and fun sometime soon!
While parking costs are always subject to change, theme park
parking is currently priced at $25 per day for a standard-sized vehicle. If you'd like a preferred parking spot, which means you'll be closer to the entrance of the theme park, that rate is currently $45-50 per day, depending on what time of year you visit. If you happen to be staying at a
Disney Resort hotel or are an
Annual Passholder, though, the great news is that you'll be entitled to complimentary standard theme park parking! Whoo hoo! If you're curious about parking rates at either the Disney Resort hotels or Disney Springs, you'll find all of that information on the
parking page, too.
Before you arrive, I'd encourage you to check out this
helpful page about changes at the theme parks due to COVID-19. For example, you'll find that once you've parked and arrived at the theme park, you and any fellow Mouseketeers will need to go through a temperature screening and a streamlined security process before going through the ticketing entrance gates. I'd recommend pulling in the parking lot up to an hour before the
theme park opens so that you have plenty of time to go through these steps and be among the first Guests in the theme parks. My family has always found that we're able to enjoy several attractions with very short wait times before the crowds begin picking up mid-morning.
We're so glad you stopped by planDisney, Judi, and please feel free to come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
