Ahoy there, Chris!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Setting sail on a
fireworks cruise is my favorite way to celebrate a special occasion at Walt Disney World. I'd be happy to discuss logistics with you. Anchors aweigh!
Because
EPCOT will be closed after your specialty cruise, you will not be allowed back into the park. To avoid the hassle of taking a ride share to reach your car, I recommend moving your vehicle from the EPCOT parking lot to
Disney's Yacht Club Resort or
Disney's Beach Club Resort before reporting to the marina to check in for your sailing. When you arrive at the entrance, let the parking attendant know you are taking a specialty cruise. You may be asked for the lead Guest's name and confirmation number.
If you've never taken a specialty fireworks cruise, I'll share some tips to make your evening more enjoyable.
*Your pontoon boat will sail rain or shine, so be prepared for the elements. I cruised this past March, and nighttime temperatures were chilly; we were glad we brought sweatshirts on board.
*A Cast Member will call a day or two before your adventure to confirm the pick-up time and location. This is an excellent opportunity to ask any final questions and let them know if anyone in your crew is celebrating something.
*Your vessel will have complimentary snacks, water, and soft drinks. You are welcome to take anything you don't eat with you. My kids loved bringing home the Mickey Mouse crisped rice treats!
*Brace yourself for the emotions of
Luminous The Symphony of Us. Songs like
Remember Me and
When She Loved Me give me all the feels!
I hope this has been helpful, Chris, and you have an enchanted evening. Thanks for sending your question to
planDisney, and if there is anything else we can do to make your upcoming visit even more magical, don't hesitate to reach out again.
Cheers,
Betsy
