Hi Maureen! Thanks for bringing your question to us at planDisney.
You're in for a treat! I was able to enjoy dinner at
Trail's End Restaurant a few weeks ago and it was absolutely fantastic. The Smokehouse Skillet was delicious (my fave was the pecan-smoked brisket), but I could have made a meal of the fantastic bread basket! Biscuits, hushpuppies, and cornbread with pimento spread and honey butter. Yum!
Day Guests who wish to visit a Disney Resorts Collection hotel must have a confirmed reservation to be eligible for
complimentary self-parking. You will be asked for your name or reservation number or to scan your MagicBand to verify you have a reservation at that location. In my experience, this policy is strictly enforced. I do not think you will be permitted to park at a resort other than
Disney's Fort Wilderness, where Trail's End Restaurant is located.
To reach Trail's End Restaurant, park in the Fort Wilderness lot near the Outpost Depot and take the bus to the Settlement Depot. Another option would be to take
water transportation from Magic Kingdom Park. The Fort Wilderness boat dock is just a short walk from the restaurant.
Please visit planDisney again if you have any other questions. Enjoy your visit!
