Welcome to planDisney, Cassie! You're almost ready to arrive at the
Most Magical Place on Earth, and it sounds like you're coming in style! My husband and I enjoy our travel trailer, and we have our first visit booked at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort this fall. We named our camper after Donald Duck, so I can't wait to set up camp with some Disney touches. But you're interested in staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, so let's see what options you'll have for parking your trailer while you enjoy the luxury (and full-sized bathroom!) at the resort.
Cassie, I spoke to a helpful Cast Member who said most
Disney Resort Hotels have large enough parking lots to accommodate oversized vehicles and campers. When you check in, you'll be directed toward an area to park, depending on space availability. Typically, guests are asked to park oversized vehicles away from the main areas of the resort, and the Value and Moderate resorts will offer the most options since their lots are larger. I suggest calling
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations before your arrival to ensure your specific resort has parking for your trailer.
I hope you take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry during your stay, Cassie. This benefit is available to guests at most Disney Resort Hotels and allows you to enter any theme park 30 minutes before opening. I enjoy heading to an attraction or two that typically have long waits during the day. I'm always surprised at how much I can see and do in that 30 minutes!
Cassie, I hope I've given you some guidance for securing parking for your trailer on your upcoming visit. Please
stop by planDisney anytime! I'll have s'mores waiting by the campfire!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
