I like to make the most of park time, so I was wondering what's the latest I can arrive for shows/parades and still get a spot (not a good spot, just a spot)? Coming May 14-26 and thinking about all the night show, musicals, and parades.

    Hi Kelly,

I agree with you! My family rarely watches the parades as we are too busy riding all of the attractions.

For the parades, I have walked right up to a viewing spot with less than 15 minutes to go. I generally can see everything and enjoy the parade. The same is true for Wishes and Illuminations.

For the musicals, these require a longer wait than a parade. I generally recommend the first show of the day as it is least crowded. You generally can walk to the venue with less than 15 minutes to go and enjoy the show. However, some are more popular like Festival of the Lion King and Nemo the Musical. These shows you might want to wait on line about 30 minutes prior depending on the crowds that particular day.

Fantasmic! is another show you might want to wait on the line a little longer as well. You can shorten this wait by doing the Fantasmic! Dinner Show. You prepay for your meal at one of three restaurants and then they provide you a ticket to select seating at the theater. Your wait time is less than 30 minutes for one of the best shows on property.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
