    Can park tickets be transferred from Walt Disney World to Disneyland?

    Hello Angie!

    Welcome to planDisney! Oh, how I wish tickets were able to be transferred from one resort to the other! We had to cancel our visit to the Disneyland Resort during the pandemic, and now that one of my kiddos is in college, he won’t be joining us on the rescheduled trip. Since we are regular visitors to the Walt Disney World Resort, it would be much easier for us to use the leftover ticket there. Unfortunately, theme park tickets are not transferrable between the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort.

    I do have some good news for you, Angie. Do know that most wholly unused tickets retain the value paid for them, even after their expiration date. You can use the value paid for those tickets toward the purchase of tickets for a future trip. I guess this means I’ll be needing to make a return visit to Disneyland!
