Hi Brad!
Welcome to planDisney!
To make sure everyone gets their own tickets to manage, first make sure everyone has their own My Disney Experience accounts. After that, you’ll want to connect to each member of your party through the
Family & Friends List.
To do that online, visit
Walt Disney World’s website, hover over My Disney Experience, and click My Family & Friends. At the top of the page, click Add a Guest and follow the prompts.
If you want to do this using the
My Disney Experience app, click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner, scroll down to click Profile, then click Family & Friends List at the top. From there, click Add a Guest and follow the prompts.
You’ll also want to make sure that you’re sharing all of your plans with your travel party. You can do that by clicking on the person’s name under your Family & Friends List on the app or clicking the Edit Settings button next to their name online.
Once you’re all connected, you’ll want to assign the tickets to each person if they aren’t already. You can find this under My Disney Experience online or by clicking the 3 lines in the bottom right corner of the app and going to the section titled My Tickets & Passes. Click on the ticket, then click Reassign Ticket to pick the person you’d like to assign the ticket to.
If that doesn’t work, each member of your party can manually link their tickets to their My Disney Experience account. They’ll have the ability to do that under the same sections mentioned above (the My Disney Experience section online or the My Tickets & Passes on the app).
If you’ve tried all of that and still can’t get it to work, I recommend calling the
My Disney Experience phone line. A Cast Member will be happy to help!
I hope you have a great trip! If any other questions pop up before you head down to Disney, let us know!
