Do I have to have a park ticket to have a dining reservation at that park? We are looking at doing 4 days at Disney, but am curious if I can only schedule my Magic Kingdom dining reservation on the day we plan on being at Magic Kingdom.

    Hi Autumn,

How exciting to be planning an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  These are great questions. You are required to have valid park admission in order to dine inside one of the theme parks. If you will be purchasing a 4-Day Base Ticket, which gives you access to only one theme park per day, you will need to book your Advanced Dining Reservation at Magic Kingdom Park on the same day you plan to visit that park. However, if you add the Park Hopper Option, which allows you to visit more than one theme park on the same day, you could book an Advanced Dining Reservation at Magic Kingdom Park and still visit another theme park on the same day. For instance, if you add the Park Hopper Option to your tickets, you could visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Park in the morning and Magic Kingdom Park that evening to enjoy dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant.

I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a magical trip, Autumn!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
