Hello, Michelle! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for a chance to share some thoughts with you as you plan your upcoming trip to Disneyland Resort!
Visiting 'The Happiest Place on Earth' during the merriest season of all sounds like the perfect way to celebrate the season! This year, the
holiday festivities officially begin November 15, 2024, so based on your anticipated visit dates, you'll be in for a
totally tinsel time!
Michelle, in my personal experience, I've noticed that some of the seasonal decorations might begin to appear in the days leading up to the official start of the Holidays at Disneyland Resort. This is especially true around the
Disneyland Resort hotel properties and in the
Downtown Disney District. But the complete yuletide transformations will definitely be finalized before the opening day of the holiday season throughout the Disneyland Resort. One of my favorite "hidden gems" to check out is the Holiday Cart in the grand lobby at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. There are special treats and seasonal delights you can't find anywhere else, and they make the perfect souvenir to take home some holiday cheer. My favorite is the Mickey-shaped Gingerbread, which is beautifully wrapped for gift-giving. While you're there, you might even catch some fabulous holiday performances in the lobby. We've seen traditional carolers and handbell performances, which were both just delightful! Plus, that holiday tree in the middle of the Grand Hall is simply breathtaking.
I hope that this has been some useful information to consider as you continue planning your upcoming visit, Michelle. There are so many fabulous things to look forward to this year at Disneyland Resort, and the winter holidays are definitely at the top of my list. I hope you and your family find something magical and inspirational about the season to mark your special visit later this year. If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to
planDisney again. It would be our honor to help with your Disney vacation planning needs!
Merriest wishes,
