Hi I have park reservations for WDW Florida on Disney app on my phone , does our party of 7 also need magic bands(staying in private rental) or can we get physical tickets?

    Heigh-ho, Diane!

Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the luckiest of them all? It's YOU because you're going to The Most Magical Place on Earth so very soon! I hope you're as excited as I am to experience the wonder of Walt Disney World Resort. I'm glad you decided to stop by planDisney with your question for us!

Diane, as you whistle while you plan your magical vacation, I hope you know you're doing an excellent job and totally deserve to treat yourself to some Mickey-shaped snacks once you arrive. Since you've already made your theme park reservations, and have your My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded and ready to go on your smartphone, let's discuss your question about Disney bands.

There are different ways to enter the theme parks with your party, and everyone with valid admission (ages three and up) is required to have one. Whether you choose an admission card, a Disney band, or Guests can set up the Disney MagicMobile service on their phones, which acts as a digital pass to enter the parks, the choice is yours.

Your entire party does not need Disney bands to enter the theme parks, and you're welcome to use admission cards if that's what you prefer. When you booked your tickets, you should have received an e-mail confirmation with your reservation, including instructions on printing your e-Ticket barcode. You'll want to take this barcode, along with a photo ID for anyone 18 years and up, to any of the ticket booth windows located outside the entrance of all the theme parks. You can also head to the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, where a friendly Cast Member will be happy to provide you with your admission cards there.

If you're arriving a bit before you're planning on visiting the theme parks, I recommend making a day out of visiting Disney Springs and getting your admission cards early so you're ready to hit the turnstiles as soon as you're at the theme parks. There's so much to do at Disney Springs between shopping, dining, and entertainment! For instance, when my family visits, we stop by World of Disney®, which has the world's largest collection of Disney merchandise! After we've shopped 'til we've (almost) dropped, we head to Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' to eat some delicious comfort food. I do recommend you make reservations, as this spot tends to fill up quickly.

Here's to making precious memories with loved ones!

Wishing you an enchanting visit, Diane!
