Hi, Allison! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, but now all the waiting is about to pay off. You're going to Disney World! I'm happy to help you find a practically perfect time to plan your family's visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
First, let's talk
Disney Park Pass. Since Disney is still
limiting capacity in the theme parks for the health of everyone, all Guests need to make reservations before hitting the parks. You may find that the dates you were hoping to visit are already full, so it's going to take some advance planning to select dates that work for you and that have reservations available. With that in mind, I suggest taking a look at the
Availability Calendar and planning your trip around dates that have openings. As I look at the rest of this week, for example, some days have no reservations available at all, while others have availability only at
EPCOT. That means your options would be to keep an eye on the calendar in case some other parks open up, or add the
Park Hopper Option to your tickets and visit EPCOT first, then hop to another park later in the day.
Once you have your travel dates in mind, you'll need to adjust the dates on your current unused tickets. My friend and fellow
planDisney panelist Tabitha has a great step-by-step primer on how to do that in your
My Disney Experience app. If you prefer, you can
call Disney's Guest Relations at the Existing Tickets number and a Cast Member will take care of it for you. Then, once you get those dates changed, you'll want to head over to the Disney Park Pass page and make your reservations right away. You can see that they go faster than Lightning McQueen in a Piston Cup race!
I know it can be a little overwhelming, but hopefully this information will help you get back to the magic as soon as possible. Thank you for stopping by to see us, and please hop on over again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
