When can I make park reservations if I am planning on going to the parks September 9 and 10? I will also be staying at a disneyland hotel.

Welcome to planDisney, Denisse! Your trip will be here soon, and I’m happy to help you get all the details in order, especially when they’re as important as making your park reservations!

I have great news! You can secure your park reservations today! I checked the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, and as of now, there are reservations available for both parks on your travel dates (subject to change). If you purchased your tickets while signed into your Disneyland account, they should already be linked. If not, simply sign in, select "My Disneyland" from the top menu, and click "Link Tickets" to add them to your account. Once linked, you can visit "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and follow the prompts to reserve your park days for each member of your party.

Since you're staying at Disneyland Hotel, you’ll enjoy an extra sprinkle of magic with Early Entry! As a guest of a Disneyland Resort hotel, you’ll have access to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure 30 minutes before regular park opening each day of your stay. The Early Entry schedule is available on the Disneyland website, and all you need to take advantage of this perk is your room key and theme park reservation. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy popular attractions with shorter wait times. My family loves heading straight to Fantasyland to kick-start the day with classic attractions!

And here’s a treat sweeter than a Mickey-shaped pumpkin beignet: your visit falls during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, which begins August 22! The parks will be decked out in frightfully fun décor, and one of my favorite seasonal touches is the Día de Los Muertos exhibit in Frontierland. This beautiful display includes an ofrenda and a trio of mariachi musicians, depicted as festive calacas (skeletons). I highly recommend stopping by in the evening when the area is beautifully illuminated, adding an extra touch of magic to this vibrant tradition.

I hope this helps as you count down to your Disneyland adventure, Denisse! If you have any other questions, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.

    Wishing you a magical visit!
