Hey Howdy Hey Kiley and welcome to planDisney!
Disney has been making big changes to the theme park experience this year. The need for
Theme Park Reservations was one of them. Thank you for stopping by with your question about reservations for your upcoming trip. I will be happy to give you more information on whether you need reservations.
Earlier this year, Disney made updates to their policy on Them Park Reservations. At this time,
those individuals with date-based tickets no longer need reservations to enter the parks. This is regardless of Options, such as the Park Hopper Option, that can be added to tickets.
Date-based tickets are those more commonly purchased online through the Disney site. If you had to select which day you wanted to start using your tickets and then given a date range they are valid, that is typically your ticket type. If you still are unsure, you can always go online and try to make reservations. If you have date-based tickets, you will not be allowed to make reservations.
With all of the changes to the theme park experience, we have also enjoyed some really exciting announcements. One of the big ones is that
Tiana's Bayou Adventure will be opening this summer in Magic Kingdom. To keep up with all the excitement around the Walt Disney World Resort, follow Disney Parks on social media or make sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for updates. My fingers will be crossed that you can experience this reimagined attraction during your upcoming trip!
I hope this helps answer your question on Theme Park Reservations. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
