Hey Howdy Hey Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!
There is so much to be excited about when it comes to visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this year. One of the many changes that took place thus far involved
Theme Park Reservations. Thank you for stopping by with your question about reservations. I will be happy to give you more information on them.
Early this year, Disney updated their policy on Theme Park Reservations. At this time,
Guests who have purchased date-based tickets no longer need reservations to enter the parks. If you are trying to purchase theme park tickets other than date-based ones, say the
Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket, you will still have to make reservations for your day in the parks. Reservations can only be made after you purchase your tickets and have them linked to your My Disney Experience account.
I hope you have some time scheduled to visit EPCOT during your upcoming trip.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is going on now and is such a fun way to celebrate the new growing season and warmer weather. There is so much to look forward to with this celebration of the seasons from some amazing topiaries, visually stunning garden displays and so many delicious seasonal food and drink offerings.
I hope this helps to give you more information on the current policy with Theme Park Reservations. Please feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
