Hiya Anna,
Welcome to planDisney! Great job getting all your park reservations for your December trip! The holidays are always extra magical, which means everyone wants to be a part of the fun, and sometimes theme parks can have limited availability. I also have a trip in December coming up, so I locked in mine as soon as I knew my dates.
Great question, by the way, about park hopping, Anna. I know in the past you weren't able to park hop until 2 pm EST, but not anymore! Currently, Guests with
Park Hopper tickets or an
Annual Pass can hop to any theme park at any time as long as it is not at capacity. The only thing is that you must enter the park you have a park reservation for first. Once you scan in, you are free to hop! Your
My Disney Experience mobile app will notify you if park hopping isn't available at a certain theme park due to capacity as well, so you can adjust your plans if needed. If you don't have a Park Hopper ticket or Annual Pass, you won't be permitted to park hop at all.
I hope this was helpful, Anna. Before I let you go, there are so many incredible things already scheduled for the holidays. To help you plan out what is on your must-do list, check out the
holiday guides on the Disney Parks Blog, if you haven’t already. Every year my family and I like to check out the
Candlelight Processional at EPCOT and go to one of
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties. This year we are adding a stop at
Walt Disney Presents to our list. The theatre will play holiday-themed short films, and I know my toddlers will love it. As you plan the rest of your itinerary, please come back and see us. We would love to make sure you get all the holiday festivity you want.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
