I have my park reservation for May 10th for Disneyland Resort only. I’m hearing mixed reviews online that both parks will be full for grad night, any insight on that? Thank you !

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Andrea. Thanks for stopping by with your question. It looks like your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it and I'm thrilled to help out.

School is almost out for summer and you know what that means? That's right, Grad Nites at the Disneyland Resort. The first of many Grad Nites is set to kick off on the day of your visit, May 10th. While the event for Grad Nite takes place in Disney California Adventure Park, you will see a lot of attendees at both parks throughout the day.

This is a well-attended event that tends to draw in more crowds for the day. In the past, I have visited the parks during Grad Nite and noticed that the parks were a little busier due to the event. The event starts at 9:00 p.m. and most partygoers will head over to Disney California Adventure Park at that time and you'll start to notice the crowds start to lighten up in Disneyland Park. If your plans are flexible, you can always consider modifying your theme park reservation to attend on a day when the event is not taking place.

Pixar Fest is in full swing at the Disneyland Resort celebrating friendship and beyond. There's no shortage of fun things to experience. During my last visit, I enjoyed trying as many of the Pixar-themed eats and treats. If you haven't already, check out the Foodie Guide and start making your list of must-eats.

Andrea, I hope the information I've shared is helpful. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Until then, here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
