Me and my friends are going on may 10th and didn’t realize it was grad nite is DCA closing early that day for grad nite?

A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you, Bryton. Thanks for visiting us to share this question. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here so let's make sure you're all set.

Indeed you are correct that Grad Nite (in fact the first one) will be happening on the day of your visit. The Grad Nite event takes place in Disney California Adventure Park which will close early for the special event. If you happen to have a Park Hopper ticket for the day, you could hop on over to Disneyland Park to finish out your magical day. If you don't have a Park Hopper ticket, you may also consider modifying your theme park reservation to spend your day at Disneyland Park.

Pixar Fest just kicked off last weekend and there are so many wonderful things to experience in both theme parks. I just returned from my visit and enjoyed meeting many beloved Pixar characters at the Fantasyland Theater. I was over the moon to meet Russell and Dug. I had just met Dug and I love him. I also indulged in quite a few Pixar-themed eats and treats and can't wait to go back to cross more items off my must-try list.

Bryton, I hope the information I've shared is helpful and gives you other options to consider for your magical visit. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might be curious about. Here's to having your best Disney day!

    Adventure is out there!
