Hi Linda! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Park hopping is an absolute must for me and my family when we visit
Walt Disney World Resort. We look forward to rising with the sun, rope-dropping at one park, returning to our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a swim in the afternoon, and then hitting another Park in the evening for dinner and fireworks! I especially love the new nighttime spectacular,
Harmonious, so we make sure to spend at least one night at
EPCOT with a Mickey Premium Bar in hand!
The
Caring for Giants tour located in
Disney's Animal Kingdom looks fascinating! While I've never taken this tour before, I know my kids would love the experience. I bet you're all going to have a great time getting up close and personal with the elephants. Because of the timing of your tour beginning right at 2 p.m. I would highly suggest changing your
Park Pass Reservation to Disney's Animal Kingdom and plan on starting your morning there. The "Know Before you Go" section of the tour website states that Guests are required to check in for their tour at least 15 minutes prior to the time it departs. Guests arriving late may not be able to join. I would absolutely hate to see you miss your chance on your tour because you are unable to enter your second Park of the day until 2 p.m. with the
Park Hopper Option.
After your tour is complete, you and your party can hop right over to Magic Kingdom for the afternoon and evening! A quick flip-flop of your day will allow you to experience both parks AND your special tour through the
Enchanting Extras Collection. Plus, Disney's Animal Kingdom is so beautiful in the morning. The birds are chirping, the animals on
Kilimanjaro Safaris tend to be the most active and the weather is usually cooler, making it the perfect time of day to explore the Park! Then, in the evening at
Magic Kingdom, you'll be able to check out the new fireworks display,
Disney Enchantment! Sounds like a win-win to me!
Enjoy your magical vacation!
