Hello fellow Disney traveler!
Welcome to planDisney! Of course I have to first say that either park would be wonderful, each for different reasons.
Magic Kingdom is classic with rides that speak to the heart of the Walt Disney World® Resort. I suspect he would love
Tomorrowland Speedway, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train,
Peter Pan's Flight, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,
Pirates of the Caribbean, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. If he likes thrill rides and meets the height requirement, he may enjoy Space Mountain and
TRON Lightcycle/ Run. If you do visit Magic Kingdom, be sure to stay for the nighttime fireworks show,
Happily Ever After. We love to end the night with this stunning storytelling collection - just be sure that you can see the front of Cinderella Castle during the show!
I also suggest that you take a look at the attractions in
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is amazing. He can train for the Resistance on
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and find other Resistance allies on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Beware of the Storm Troopers while on Batuu. Build a lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop and take a break at
Oga's Cantina. The experience is truly intergalactic.
Since you know this little one better than me, I leave the final decision to you. No matter which park you choose, children's eyes light up when they visit Disney and I truly believe each park has its own magic. I will never forget our first trip with our girls when they were five-years old. We were in
EPCOT, meeting Princess Jasmine. There was a little boy who clearly wanted to say hello but was having a battle with shyness. He was so happy when he finally had the chance to meet her.
I also remember that our girls loved everything. They were happy to try every attraction that they were tall enough to experience. So, check the
height requirements for attractions, consider making dining reservation for a
character meal, and start making those travel arrangements!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
