Hi Bianca,
Welcome to planDisney!
From the looks of it, your visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort is coming up soon! The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a service that my family has used on most visits. It truly makes our ability to navigate the parks much more manageable.
First, make sure you have pre-registered for DAS. The online pre-registration process could take some time, but, if a cast member determines you are eligible for DAS, it will allow you to make
Advance Selections for DAS. You can make advance selections 30 to two days prior to arrival. For reference, see the
list of attractions eligible for advance planning. You can select up to two attractions per day that you have valid theme park admission. If you do not complete pre-registration, when you arrive, you can visit
Guest Relations to determine your eligibility for DAS and, if eligible, a cast member can register you for the service.
Once you are in the parks, you should see the DAS tool in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. You can then scroll through attractions to see possible DAS return times. When you select one, that will be your "rolling" DAS selection for the day. Once you scan in for an attraction, you should be able to make another "rolling" selection. Remember that the person assigned the DAS must scan in first when you get to an attraction reserved with DAS.
Bianca, occasionally, we have scanned into an attraction but one of us has not been "cleared" from that attraction. We have simply gone to a Guest Experiences Team area to get help from a cast member. One final tip - remember to also make
advanced dining reservations and use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering because doing so should reduce your time waiting in line for food!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
