What park do you recommend going to on our first day which will be a friday since flight wont get in until 9:18 and we will have another half day when we return from a cruise. visiting wdw resort parks and want to make the best of our five days there.

Hi, Stacy!  There are a couple of ways you could do this.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you could go to the park that has evening extra magic hours that first night and really get a full theme park day, even though you won't be there until later.

Another thing you could do is split a larger park, like EPCOT or the Magic Kingdom between your two shorter days.  That way, you'll be able to see most of what you may want to see, just split into two days.

Lastly, you could do a theme park that you think you might spend a shorter amount of time in and choose that one to spend your first day.  I know families that can go through Animal Kingdom in a shorter day.

I hope that helps, and I hope your vacation is wonderful!
