Aloha, Heather! I am glad you stopped by planDisney on your way to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
I can't wait to stop by
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and see the new Island Tower. My friend
Jennifer has me dreaming of
Wailulu Bar & Grill. A Poke bowl, Oceania Espresso Martini and a view of the fireworks sound perfect! I can't wait to try all her recommendations.
Disney Resorts Collection hotels provide complimentary self-parking for Guests. Due to limited parking and the popularity of all the restaurants at the Polynesian, parking is reserved for Guests staying at this resort. If you have a dining reservation at any amazing restaurant, you can ask at the gate if parking is available. The Cast Members will most likely ask you to show your reservation on the
My Disney Experience app and a picture ID.
Since you are staying at
Walt Disney World, you have several options if parking at the Polynesian is not an option for you. First,
Disney Resort Transportation can whisk you off to
Magic Kingdom Park from your resort or another theme park. You can walk straight to the
Disney Monorail from the Resort Bus area and take the highway in the sky to the Polynesian.
You can also drive your car and park at the Magic Kingdom lot. With your resort reservation, parking at the theme parks is included. Just ask the Cast Member to scan your
MagicBand+,
Disney MagicMobile or physical card at the parking lot entrance. The Polynesian is a short walk from the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Heather, I hope you have a magical day at Walt Disney World Resort. If we can help with any other questions, please come see us again at
planDisney.
'Ohana!
