I have a park pass for Magic Kingdom on October 20th (but have not bought a ticket for the Halloween Party). I made a dinner reservation for 6:10 at Be Our Guest....will I need to have the Halloween ticket to go to this dinner?

Hi Allison! It's nice to see another friend from Massachusetts joining us here at planDisney!

Your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is coming quickly and it's great to hear that you've already made your Theme Park Reservations and started thinking about Advance Dining Reservations! In fact, TODAY is a special day for you - the 60-day mark before your vacation, meaning you can begin booking your dining reservations and some other experiences from the Enchanting Extras Collection right away! If you don't get all the reservations you're hoping for right away, keep checking! Many times, Guests (including myself) have had wonderful luck catching last-minute reservations at coveted dining locations just a day or two before planning to dine.

I bet you're getting so excited about your visit to Magic Kingdom! Since the Park closes early that night I definitely suggest getting up with the sun and arriving at the Park for "rope drop"!  This means leaving your Disney Resorts Collection hotel about an hour before the Early Theme Park Entry opening time to be one of the very first people in line. You'll find that you can hop on some of your favorite attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    with little to no wait.

If you're not planning to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in the evening you may want to think about swapping your Advance Dining Reservation for a location that is not included as one of the options for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Party Dining.  Guests who wish to dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella's Royal Table any time after 6 p.m. on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights are required to have a Party Ticket in order to stay for their reservation. Reservations at other locations throughout the Park are open to day Guests through 6:55 p.m.

Since you're already in the Park and already have your Dining Reservation you may really want to think about staying for the Halloween Party! With events like Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, you know you and your party will have a frightfully good time!
