We have park to park passes coming up and we would like to start at Animal kingdom and head to Epcot after. We have dinner reservations at Epcot, when I booked dinner it switched my park reservation to Epcot but we want Animal first. How do we do this?

    Welcome, Kyle!

Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney for your upcoming trip Walt Disney World Resort. It sounds like you have some great plans already in the works, and I’m happy to help you make those plans practically perfect in every way.

With your Park Hopper tickets, you will be able to hop to another park beginning at 2:00 p.m. once you have visited the park for which you have a reservation on that day. Starting in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a wild way to start and EPCOT is a wonderful way to end a magical day, so you’ve made a great choice!

Kyle, this should be an easy fix since it is now easier than ever to make and modify your Theme Park Reservations through your My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience mobile app

On the website, simply select “Theme Park Reservations” and then select “Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations.” On the next page, you will be able to see the reservations you currently have on each day during your stay. Simply select “Modify Reservation” and follow the prompts to select the park you wish to visit first.

On the My Disney Experience mobile app, simply select the “+” symbol on the menu at the bottom of the screen, then select “Make or Modify Park Reservations,” which will take you to the mobile version of the Walt Disney World website. Just scroll down to find the reservations you currently have on each day during your stay. Find the day you would like to modify and select “Modify Reservation” and follow the prompts to select the first park you wish to visit that day. It’s as simple as that!

Now, Kyle, since the daily availability for each park is limited, there is a chance that the park you desire will not be available. However, in my experience, early February is a great time to visit because the crowd levels are typically low so I doubt you will have any issues securing the park reservation you desire.

So, with theme park reservations squared away, I hope that you are making plans to take advantage of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which is being held during your visit! This amazing display of art and culinary delights is included in your admission. I encourage you to take time to stroll through the many opportunities to wow all your senses and don't forget to look down and see the magical chalk art all around World Showcase.

Kyle, I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney. Please feel free to hop back by with any additional questions you may have about your upcoming visit - we are here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
