If the park hours are being reduced, yet some restaurants will still be open after the park has closed will transportation still be running more than an hour after park close? For example.. if dining isn't finished before that hour is up?

Welcome to planDisney, Andrew! You've asked an excellent question!

Prior to 2020, it was all the rage to have a pre-park opening breakfast (or PPO in Disney lingo) to get those magical empty park photos! However, recently, with the announcement of shortened park hours this fall, Disney foodies were overjoyed to hEAR that Walt Disney World Resort is now offering after-hours dining reservations inside the theme parks. In Magic Kingdom Park, which currently closes at 6:00 PM, Be Our Guest Restaurant and Liberty Tree Tavern show dining reservations available until 7:00 PM (perfect for that unobstructed picture of Cinderella Castle). The same is true of Disney's Hollywood Studios (which now closes at 7:00 PM) at 50's Prime Time Cafe, Oga's Cantina, and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. We've been told that transportation will be available to accommodate guests with these later dining reservations, and specifically that the buses would be running up to 90 minutes after park closure. Transportation schedules are always subject to change, so I recommend checking with Guest Services when you arrive at the park. This not very tech-savvy suburban mom has even figured out how to use the Uber and Lyft apps to get back to my resort in a jiffy on a few occasions! Also, don't forget to check out the Dining: Know Before You Go page for all the up to date information.

I hope you have a magical vacation, Andrew! If you have any more questions, remember we're all EARs!
