Hi all when park hopping time comes around are there buses from the parks direct to whichever water parks are open or do i need to go back to the resort first. thankyou stay magical

Hi Andrea! Welcome back to planDisney!

For me and my family, having a Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket for Walt Disney World Resort is a MUST DO.  We always enjoy spending our mornings in one Park like Disney's Hollywood Studios, heading back to our Resort at lunchtime for a refreshing swim and a relaxing nap, and then jumping back on a bus to catch the evening fireworks at another Park like EPCOT.  Including adventures to the Water Parks just adds to the thrill and excitement of your trip!

If you're spending the morning at a Theme Park like Magic Kingdom and then planning to cool off at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in the afternoon you'll be there before you can say Humunga Kowabunga!  While Disney Bus Service does not run directly from the four Theme Parks to Typhoon Lagoon there are still quick and easy ways to get there!

With Disney's many complimentary transportation options there are multiple ways to get to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon from each Theme Park. While you certainly can return to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to refresh and change, you can also board a bus at the closest Resort to the Theme Park you're visiting and ride to the Water Park from there. You'll want to find a bus that says "Disney Springs" on it, as the buses stop there first for Guests to transfer.

For example, if you're planning on spinning on the Mad Tea Party and riding the wildest ride in the wilderness at Magic Kingdom in the morning I would suggest taking a quick 5-minute stroll over to Disney's Contemporary Resort and hopping on a bus for Disney Springs.  From there you can quickly transfer buses and head to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

Using your My Disney Experience mobile app is a great way to have an interactive map at your fingertips.  By opening the app and clicking on the second icon from the left at the bottom of the screen you'll pull up the map and the option to get directions to and from anywhere around the more than 40 square miles of the Resort.  Simply click on any white icon and then click "Get Directions".  You'll be able to type in where you are and where you're going and get transit directions as well as the amount of time it will take to complete your journey.

Have a wonderful time splashing around and make sure to stop by Happy Landings Ice Cream and have an EARidescent Ice Dream Cone for me!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
